Ideas and tips to save resources and make your clothes last longer.

  • Dare to air. Airing is a really useful alternative to laundering clothes that just need freshening up. And it's very simple – just hang clothes outside on a washing line or on a hanger in a steamy bathroom.
  • Use the coolest, gentlest cycle possible for the type of clothes you're washing. It saves energy AND makes your clothes last longer.
  • More is less with detergent – adding extra measures can do more harm than good as it leaves a damaging residue on your clothes after rinsing.

100% of our items undergo chemical and physical testing to ensure compliance with the limits we have set for the use of chemicals, which at times are even more stringent that those set by international standards.

Since it is made of a single material, this product is easier to recover at the end of its life. OVS has signed up to the 2020 Circular Fashion System Commitment, an initiative promoted by the Global Fashion Agenda to speed up our transition to circular fashion. Giving new life to textiles, instead of starting a production cycle from scratch every time, means saving vital resources for our planet.

Tencel* Lyocell

Tencel(*) is a fibre made applying rigorous methods with a low impact on the environment, making it an extremely virtuous material as well as one of the most sustainable solutions on the market. The production process for this renewable fibre with plant origins is almost entirely closed cycle and uses renewable energy.

Our jeans are made using 100% zero PP treatments, meaning they are completely free from potassium permanganate, which is harmful to people and the environment. When looking to add that aged denim look, we only use treatments that are safer for workers, with low water and energy consumption, such as laser technology and enzymes.

Our suppliers

We have made conscious choices based on the utmost responsibility and transparency at every stage in the production chain.
