The challenge for us is to reduce our impact on the planet, aiming to become a circular company.

This means that our products must: be easily recyclable; safer materials; recycled or sustainable; and last longer.

We strive to offer the quality that can make our clothes last longer and we favour simple compositions for our products, limiting the use of mixed materials.

In this way:

67% of our collections are already easily recyclable at the end of life into new textile materials
32% can be recovered in other production sectors
only 1% does not have a valid destination

We are working to expand the range of garments designed to last longer in our collections.

Circular Fashion Partnership:
between transparency and circularity

In 2020, we joined the Circular Fashion Partnership in Bangladesh to collaborate with our suppliers in recovering production waste and making new materials with it.

Therefore we give our supplies a way to transform disposal costs into a source of revenue and, at the same time, we contribute to fighting against local micro-crime in the rubbish disposal sector.

Humana People to People Italia is a humanitarian organisation that has been financing social and environmental projects in Italy and all over the world through the collection, selection, and sale of used clothing. The organisation is part of the International Federation Humana People to People, which is involved in over 1,200 development projects every year, helping to improve living conditions for around 10 million people.

Our used clothing recycling programme is part of OVS’s commitment to protecting the planet. Giving clothes that you no longer wear a second life is simple. Just leave them in the containers in the OVS stores.

Bring your clothes to the store and leave them in the container. We accept all clothing, accessories and home textiles in good condition.
For every bag of clothing, your receive a €5 voucher to use on a purchase of at least €40.
